A much loved traditional winter style from Scandinavia. Pouring a deep and hazy copper, with a full, lingering cream head, our Julebryg presents a subtle noble hop aroma accompanied by hints of rosemary and mint. Rich biscuity malt flavors on the palate are balanced by a firm bitterness and kept refreshing with medium-high carbonation.
Julebryg is made by our brewer who spent last Xmas in Greenland producing lager, kölsch and altbier in the deep winter of Greenland. The style is a typical style released in Greenland and Denmark over the xmas period.
Initially released for the winter of 2016, replaced by Julebryg V2 in 2017, then rebrewed in 2018 with tweaks for the Fuliranje festival.

On tap at Craft Room, Opatovina, Zagreb. Thanks Marko for sharing and for a great presentation. Clear amber to dark amber, small off-white to tan head. Rosemary, herbal, slightly overwhelming, leaves and light citrus maybe. Very herbal profile, light sweet with some sourness. Light to medium body, soft to medium carbonation, rosemary flavors in finish. Tasty, slightly monotonous though.

Rosemary Julebryg - Fuliranje rebrew. Hazy brownish body, off white head. Rosemary aroma mostly, light soapy touches. Light, soft taste, rosemary dominates everything, light bitterish finish. Simple and nice. 6/4/6/3/13 December 10 2016 - Original Rosemary Julebryg. On tap @below zero temperatures at the Ljetno kino Tuškanac release event. Dark amber-brown with an off white head. Soft flowery aroma. Light taste, perfumey roasemary, ending dry and bitterish, slightly flowery too. Simple base beer with an interesting rosemary presence, lighter than most would expect and hope for, but still good, as I love rosemary. Was served too cold and only got colder, which didn’t help it I guess. Or it did. In any case, not a bad little beer. 6/4/7/3/13
