This beer is the bastard love child of the craft beer revolution. An unholy union between a Belgian Saison and an Indian Pale Ale; democratically brewed by our very own Equity for Punks shareholders.
Electric India is a hoppy saison brewed with fresh orange peel, lashings of heather honey, crushed black pepper corns and enthusiastically hopped with mountains of amarillo and nelson sauvin.

Another weird and daring Brewdog concoction pretending to be a hybrid between IPA and saison. Stable, medium thick, lacing, snow white head over a hazy golden blonde beer with greenish hue. Interesting bouquet of sweet red curry, mango chutney, ripe pineapple, sweet cicely, flowers, pear, white lambrusco, curcuma, black pepper, chicken massala, bell peppers, pineapple and black cardamom. Sweetish, spicy and fruity taste, lots of exotic mango and passion fruit, light electric ’tinge’ on the tongue leading me to believe this is where it gets its name from, soft carbo with a deep, basic grainy sourishness underlying, bit oily, curcuma and cardamom spiciness but gently so, earthy hop bitterishness in the finish with a soft, sweetish, lightly perfumey spiciness lingering on. Fascinating spice beer, but neither a saison nor an IPA to me.

2016 re-rate in a can. Light Belgian yeast character at first with a slight floral nose. As it warms tons of Nelson Sauvin comes out: mikan, orange and mango. Clean and crisp on the palate with a touch of sweetness from the honey. Light peppery finish with more tropical fruit. Excellent re-up on this one. For the price here in Tokyo very solid. Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a hazy golden with a large rocky head that lasted mostly throughout. Nose is amazing: aromas of banana, clove, lemongrass, arugula and pepper with that classic European saison yeast character. Wonderfully active carbonation. The body is medium but the mouthfeel is thin and watery. Yeast explosion on the palate almost to the point of being like sandpaper. There is a strange numbing character on the palate that seems to dry up all of the character present in the nose (not sure if it is the yeast or peppercorns). Just very weird flavor and mouthfeel. Finish was dry and crisp but left a weird burned yeast taste. Something went wrong I guess.

Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of yeasty notes, some fruits, citrus and spices. Taste is smooth, a bit stuffy and sweetish with hints of fruits and citrus. Finish is smooth, a bit stuffy and yeasty with some fruits and citrus. Okay, but a bit stuffy.

An orange beer, a head is big and blond. Aroma has citrusfruits, also other fruits, spices and hint of black currants. Taste is fruitful, some citrusfruits. spices and bitterness. Light+ bodied, slightly watery. Basic good beer, but something is missing.

Keg at Brewdog, Glasgow Thursday 18th June 2015 Pours light silvery gold, clear as a bell. Very floral in the mouth a little hint of violet even?, touch dry, a touch of buzz from the hops. It is ok, however I wonder if the reduction in abv has actually made this less good. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Tap at Brewdog Birmingham. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is honey and Belgian yeast. The flavour is light bitter, herby with a dry crisp yeasty, light acid citrus, herby saison like palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. I’m really not sure where this beer is coming from but it works out pretty well.

0,33L bottle (at Pudel, Tallinn). Pours golden with head. The head stays. Aroma is soap, fruits, citrus, grapefruit, some spicy notes. Flavor follows the nose. Overall: ok, but it feels bland and dead like a macro brew. Ohh and what’s up with brewdog releasing watered down versions of their old beers?! It’s not very "punk", is it?!
