Tropical and citrus fruits meld with juicy mango, while habaneros add a warming kick to boost the resinous bitterness of this pale golden IPA. Originally brewed as a B-Side.

Lata 33 cl en Valladolid 16..01..2018. (r122). Lote 160644 fcpref 09..09..2017. DESTROY HUMANOIDS. Cuerpo ligero a medio picante y herbaceo. Original, se esperaba algo más. Normal.

Dec. ’16. On tap at Brewdog Rome. It poured a hazy yellow body with a bigger head. Hoppy aroma, citrus, tropical fruit, light biscuit malt and some chalk. Flavor was bitter, fine herbal and biscuit at the very first impression, but very soon it got spiced up with chilli peppers without turning back, didn’t expect that. A pure contrast to the aroma, although some mango sweetness retained. Very long spicy finish. Interesting, I liked the hotness, although it would have been cool to feel more its other, fine ingredients.

Vom Fass Stone Brewing Berlin 2016-10 getrunken.

On tap at Taproom x 26, pours a clear blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of mango, some artificial fruit, light spiciness. Flavour is spicy and fruity, with chili peppers upfront, paving way for mango and some light artificial character. The spices and fruit are okay together, but the whole comes off as rather artificial. Not too impressive.

Clear, golden colored, medium+ white frothy head, nice lacing and long lasting. Aroma is of some malt, mostly juicy mango, tropical fruity, some citrus, some spices and bit chili. Taste is medium sweet malt, juicy mango and tropical fruity, very nice start, but then the chili and spiciness take over with moderate to strong heat, medium bitterness, dry finish, lasting spicy chili. Medium bodied, average carbonation, oily. I really enjoyed the juiciness at the start... would be better without the chili or with a very small amount. (can, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

Can at Erzbierschof Monday Club. Pours pale yellow. Aroma is mango, chili, but also dirty. Body is medium, but mostly just hot, hot and hot. Soft carbonation and lightly sweet. Long hot palate, still fruity. Good, but oh boy, this is weird.

Can. Slightly unclear golden with a medium sized, dense off-white head. Aroma has pale malt, citric fruit, light mango and green pepper. Flavor is smooth pale malt, mild citric and mango and lots of chili. Medium body and burning hot chili aftertaste. Besides the obvious chili thing, this beer is smooth and balanced but totally dominated by burning chili. It’s unbalanced for sure, but not unpleasant at all, I actually like it a lot. Far better than many other chili type infused beer.

Can at home in London / sourced from the offie on Mare Street. Pours clear orange-hold with a frothy, white head. The nose holds green pepper, a little mango, orange. Light sweet flavour with strong, aggressive chili pepper, faint grass, pine. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more harsh chili burn, orange rind, dry pale bread. Too spicy overall.
