Outmeal Stout. When creating the recipe for this beer, we bore in mind what one associates with oatmeal. Hence the base was laden with a bunch of oat flakes, roasted malts and roasted barley. The end result reflects this - intensive flavours, a coffee and dark chocolate aroma and a creamy texture. So we would not smother this, we added only as much hops as was needed to delicately balance the flavour.

Tap at Frisches. Dark black. Nose is chalky coffee, dried praline dates. Taste is smooth, creamy, espresso, oatmeal, desert dark chocolate. Oh this is so nice. Not sweet, not sticky, lovely dry and compact, very clear and focused.

A small taste from a friend (bottle) @ home. Pours very dark brown with a low head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts with some coffee. Flavor is roasted malts with some hops. Good.

Black with medium brown head. Aroma is chocolate roast vanilla melasses light dried leaves with soothing oatmeal. Taste is chocolate vanilla rich sweet smoothness with some bitter layers of roast later. Very deep and complex for not even 6 abv! Nice.

330 ml bottle. Murky darkest brown with a creamy brown colored head. Cocoa, toffee, chocolate, licorice, light citrus, hints of vanilla, roasted coconut. Mild dry bitterness, chocolate sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, mild dry bittersweet chocolaty finish. Really nice, balanced, flavorful, pleasant!
