Outmeal Stout. When creating the recipe for this beer, we bore in mind what one associates with oatmeal. Hence the base was laden with a bunch of oat flakes, roasted malts and roasted barley. The end result reflects this - intensive flavours, a coffee and dark chocolate aroma and a creamy texture. So we would not smother this, we added only as much hops as was needed to delicately balance the flavour.

Black color with a tan head with medium duration . Aroma has strong coffee beans notes with black chocolate and a los roasted malts. Flavor is bittery with roasty mouthfeel, licorice and coffee are highly present. Creamy and smooth mouthfeel in the final with mild bitterness and dry sensation.

At the 8th tasting (round 1), held at Vlada’s Beerville pub in Belgrade-Serbia. Bottle. Pours very dark oily-like brown color, small ivory lacing. Nose: basic coffee-chocolate notes, sweet in an extreme way (!). Mouth: frizzy, mild bitterness, watery, a bit boring (maybe this bottle has suffered a bit). Re tasted at Miners on tap. Nose was more sourish, bit leather. Mouth: cleaner, tastier.

Dark brown almost pitch black, weak dark tan head, after a few minutes only a ring remains. Aroma is of roasted malts and coffee, oatmeal, there can be traces of roasted acidity. Taste is low on sweetness, some caramel, more chocolate, strong roasted malt with some roasted sourness and coffee bitterness with a dry finish and a lasting roasted coffee aftertaste. Medium bodied and a bit creamy, low carbonation.

Bottle at the Ale House, Chelmsford. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a light tan head. Aroma of sweet roasted malt, with caramel and coffee. Fairly sweet with a moderate bitterness. Finish is dry with a medium roasted bitterness. Decent brew.
