PVP Gose is an conservative interpretation of the Gose style of Leipzig. It is light and refreshing, yet sour and salty. The sour culture is from traditional Croatian pickles and the salt is from ancient Pag Saltworks. The traditional addition of coriander gives this beer a perfume nuance. Since this is a salty beer pair it with delicate food like lean fish, grilled squid, octopus and mussels, preferably at Mala Travna cove, on south side of Vis.

Bottle in trade with MarkoNm. Pours hazy yellow gold with a big white frothy head. Aroma of lemon, coriander, sherbet, wheat, yeast and grass. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness, touch of sour and slightly salty. Light body, slight oily and watery texture, very high carbonation, salty finish - it's not bad but it's rather like drinking an Alka-Seltzer.

Nov. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle that poured a hazy pale yellow body with a smaller head. Weaker lemon and elderflower aroma. Flavor was lightly lemony and lactic sour, especially later on, it even turned into aggressive metallic note occasionally. The off note wasn’t too strong luckily. Not salty, which is expected of the style. Coriander was notable, but not much as description would suggest. Thin and watery with shorter finish. Interesting take on the style, but far off - this is nothing like Gose. While first three beers of theirs won my heart, this is not really a disaster but definitely not well made. Surprised to see quite decent scores here.

Tap at Fakin. Very good, tasty, refreshing. Very nicely balanced, with light sourness, light saltiness, thin body, med-high carbonation. Light grassiness which might seem off to some, but is okay with me. Very good.

Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy pale golden color with large frothy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma is vinous, yeasty, citric, herbal and a bit funky. Taste starts with light sweet grainy malt and sour citrus, follows bready, slightly funky and just a bit salty, mouthfeel is crisp and dry, while finish is mild bitter. Light body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Nice try, but no cigar...
