»Gre za pšenični ale, zelo izrazite arome, lahko zaznavne, ter predvsem neverjetno prijetne. V njej namreč najdemo polno košaro sladkega tropskega sadja. Prevladuje sladka in sočna pasijonka, v ozadju pa se skriva mango in še marsikaj. Okus zaznamuje precej solidna in konkretna hmeljna grenkoba, kar povzroči neverjeten kontrast med okusom in aromo, ter nas kar rahlo sezuje. Pivo srednjega telesa in mehke karbonizacije nam proti koncu na jeziku pusti še rahlo pikanten oziroma začinjen občutek, ki je tipičen za belgijska pšenična piva. Zaključi pa se z izredno suhim občutkom, ki kar popivna celotno grlo.«

Definitivno zvarek, ki bo všeč tudi tistim, ki si niso najbolj na »ti« s klasičnimi pšeničnimi pivi, ter seveda ljubiteljem, ki obožujejo bolj sveže zvarke sadnih arom.

[ As Hopsbrew Tropical Wheat ].
ABV: 4.5%. Light cloudy medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, lemon, zest, perfume, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, light leather. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet fruit, citrus, sugary fruit, minerals, floral. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to lively (fizzy). [20200528]

Bottle. Yellow color with thick white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, light soapy notes. Taste, wheat, tropical fruits, hops, serious amount of hops. Very good.

On tap at Craft Room Zagreb. Hazy orange/golden coloured, small creamy off-white head, mild tropical fruit in the nose. The taste is also tropical fruits, subdued wheaty, light bready and some bitterness in the finish. Pleasant but weak.

On tap at Craft Room, Opatovina, Zagreb. Cloudy golden, small off-white head. Moderately hopped, tropical fruits, mango. Some citrus. Nice malted wheat sweetness combined with light bitterness and fruity flavors. Smooth, refreshing, light body, average carbonation, light dry finish. 738415=3.7

Bottle, 0.50l. Cloudy clay-like color with rocky white head, good lacing and sparkling appearance. Aroma is not pleasant, at all. Some wheat and mild tropical fruit is pretty normal, but rubber, leather, chestnut honey and sewage are certainly undesired flaws. Tastes extremely sour with rubbery note and bitter finish. That’s my first real disappointment by Hopsbrew. Infected for sure, of course need a re-rate, but at this moment it can be called Tropical Shit...

Tap, Medulin festival. Misty pale yellow-golden body with a small white head. Mild tropical fruit aroma with light peach, sweetish. Mild dry tropical fruit taste, ending in a sold herbal bitterness and a very light tart, fresh touch. This is a very pleasant beer all in all, seemingly much better on tap than bottled - like so many Slovenian beers that is. Hopsbrew is definitely a brewery to watch!

Cloudy yellow orange colored, medium white frothy head. Aroma at start is strong tropical fruit and some citrus, really potent and wonderful, unfortunately after some time it disappears and is similar to the taste which is strong astringency, some malt, not much wheat, and a bunch of non-wit/wheat phenolics (plastic at one point), medium harsh bitterness, dry finish. Medium- bodied, average carbonation. Shame, because the aroma after opening the bottle was wonderful. (bottle, Stella Beer To Go, Medulin)
