This beer brings together two of our favorite ingredients; hops and rye - serious hops up front provide a pungent, floral, and citrus character. We use centennial, Columbus, and Cascades in this hop lovers dream. The rye provides a slightly spicy flavor and a full mouth-feel. Divided Sky pours straw in color with notes of tangerine, grapefruit, and pine.

Pours gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spotty lacing to an island. Peppery resin aromas. Thick with sweet caramel upfront turning to pepper and pine before the lasting grapefruit finish.

Bottle. Pours a near clear gold with an orange hue and a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has notes of citrus peel, grapefruit and a bit of resin as well as a rye backing. Flavor has a good amount of grapefruit with a touch of resin and just a hint of backing rye.

Bomber from Sethdude! Thanks! Pours dark, hazy, translucent gold with a not too large creamy white head. Aroma is floral and caramel. Indicates hop is dominant. Med body or better. Instant hop burn. Floral, citrus, caramel, earthy are flavors coming to mind. It’s reminding me of that odd Australian thing - lemon myrtle or something like that. Sort of grabs the mouth. Finishing hoppy, dryer than not, and nicely bitter. With time I can get tangerine. Very nice drink. Has the flavor impact of a DIPA.

Bomber. Pour is a nice orangish gold with just the slightest hint of haziness and a thin white head. Aromas are lovely and interesting, even if they are a little subdued. Lots of a tropical edge to them... with a bit of spice and resin. Flavor is nice too... not a mind altering IPA, but very solid with a definite rye presence. Just the right amount of rye in my mind. You can tell it’s there, but doesn’t come off like cough syrup or anything. Crisp and clean beer.

22 oz. bottle, sent from xscottypx (thanks a lot, Scott), pours a hazy golden orange with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out loads of rye, pine, and quite a bit of skunky pot notes. Flavour brings out intense soapy floral notes upfront, followed by rye notes, and a little hemp. The body is quite light and somewhat spicy, finishing on the soapy floral notes. Good stuff.

12 oz draft tulip at Bier Station in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a slightly hazed golden copper, with a 1/2 inch white head. The aroma is bright citrus hop, gentle spiced rye, and a full toasted malt. The taste is the nose, a bit more rye in the flavor then showed in the nose, though really nicely balanced with the citrus hops and the toasted malt. The palate is light to medium bodied, active carbonation and a soft mineral finish. Nice, fresh, easy drinking.

Tap @ 4 Hands Anniversary Party. Pours a bit hazy, orange appearance with a cream colored head. Very spicy, rye malty, big spicy hoppy, grapefruit hoppy aroma. The flavor is packed with spiciness from the rye and from the hops with notes of citrus, grass, and toast malts. This was a sweet beer and one of my favorites of my STL beer tour.

Pour is a cloudy orange with a large white head. Aroma is as advertised. A nice spicy rye with a dank pine hop. Flavor is much of the same. A hearty rye followed by hops. FInish leaves some of the rye on the tounge after the swallow. A decent rye IPA.
