This APA is the first beer we ever brewed in a garage at the home of Grandfather Lennart. As with the evolution of the primate to the human reading this text today, we have developed and refined the recipe of this beer to perfection, and arguably to the satisfaction of Grandfather Lennart! Comparing our Monkey Business with human development is – in our view- a bold statement. Nevertheless, we cannot escape the fact that the monkey is the origin of the human race in the way that this APA is the origin of our brewery.

Keg @ sbwf 2018. Poured unclear amber color with a thick white head. Floral, perfumy and citrusy aroma. Flavor has citrusy hops, floral notes, grapefruit. Light but refreshing.

Hazed golden color with a fine lasting white head. Good lacing. Looks good. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation level. Easy to drink. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Citric hoppy, some pine and a bit fruity flavor.

Bottled. Thanks Nataša! Shared with her and Riba. Batch 44. Misty amber-gold body with almost no head. Flowery citric, herbal aroma. Taste.... Light citric taste, detergent-like in a way, flowery, slightly herbal, medium bitterness. Just OK, nothing too bad, nothing too great.

Bottle. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma of tropical fruits. Dry and bitter taste of pineapple, grape seed and some caramel malt.

Draught (Adelsö Ölfestival 2015) - Golden with a slight haee and a white head. Grapefruit, gooseberries and a faint spicy hint in the aroma. Nicely balanced and refreshing taste with lemon, pineapple and grapefruit standing out.

(Bottle, Fjäderholmarnas Krog, Stockholm, 11 June 2015) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with grainy malt, citrus, apricots and floral hops. Fruity, malty taste with notes of grainy malt, apricots, citrus, tea and a generous floral bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.
