This APA is the first beer we ever brewed in a garage at the home of Grandfather Lennart. As with the evolution of the primate to the human reading this text today, we have developed and refined the recipe of this beer to perfection, and arguably to the satisfaction of Grandfather Lennart! Comparing our Monkey Business with human development is – in our view- a bold statement. Nevertheless, we cannot escape the fact that the monkey is the origin of the human race in the way that this APA is the origin of our brewery.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty weak yeasty citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty weak yeasty citrus hoppy finish.

Bottled@NK Bar, Stockholm. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, a bit earthy with some citrusy notes. Flavour is fruity, some nectary and mild floral notes. Refreshing and quite ok for a session beer.

Bottle at NK Bar. Amber color, small white head. Aroma has overriped fruits, yeast and fruity hops. Light-bodied. Woody-Fruity hops. Late bitterness. Decent standard American.

Hell malziger Antrunk mit deutlicher Bitterkeit und ebenso starken Zitrusnoten. Diese nehmen zu und sind noch vor dem Hopfen das wichtigste Aroma. Hell würziges, deutlich hopfenbitteres Finish. 11/12/10/11//11

Draught at the brewpub on August 8, 2014.Hazy orange color, smallish white head. Sweet, caramel, hoppy, citrus scent. Bitter, hoppy, citrus, caramel taste. Smooth mouthfeel, high bitterness.

On tap at the Brewpub. Hazy darker golden with a medium white head. Aroma of orange, hops, citrus and some malt. Similar taste. A relaxed one that was not that bitter.

Ljust bärnstensfärgad med drag åt grått. Ruskigt grumlig vätska. Doft av citrus och grape. Smaken överraskar åt det positiva hållet. Torr, blommig och besk smak.

Keg at the brewpub. Cloudy straw colour, small head. Light citric hops snd bread up front. Dry with light body and clean mouthfeel. Citrus, redin and dome bread. Long, really bitter finish.
