Flaska från Boxbeer drucken med ölföreningen. Smak och doft av rök, torv, chark, bröstkaramell med mängder av maltsötma. Kraftful och stabil, fin sötma och rökighet. Bra balans och beska. Mycket gott!

Bottle from Boxbeers. Hazy brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dark fruit and heavy smoked meat. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. Oily and soft. 201119

Dark coppery color, almost brown; light beige head that quickly dissapears. Aroma has notes of meat, toasted malts and burnt caramel. Flavor with a high presence of smoked notes, sweet malts, smoked meat. Bitterness in the final with sweet notes as well, really impresive beer.

Flaska från Boxbeer drucken med ölföreningen. En stabil och rejält rökig dubbelbock bryggd särskilt för den lilla baren Ma Che Siete i Trastevere. Rustik och kraftfull med sötma och stora mängder malt som möter en ganska kärv rökighet med chark och torv. Riktigt gott.

0,3 l on tap at Godec pub. Pours clear copper with nice light tan head and some nice lacing. Aroma of smoked malt or smoked pancetta if you wish, a bit of caramel, malt and a light fruit. Flavor follows aroma. Taste is heavy sweet, but compensated with a decent dose of bitterness. Body is full, texture creamy, carbonation is soft to average. Finish is long, more of smoked pancetta is followed by a good dose of strong but mellow bitterness. It is too sweet for my taste once it really warms up, otherwise very pleasant and delicate one.

Keg at borefts. Pours deep orange, nose is smoked sausage, floral, taste is sweet, malty, caramel, bitter, bit of a smoked cheese flavour.

Keg at Churchkey. Dark brown, thin foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of strong smoke, caramel, plum. Taste is strong smoke, tea, caramel. Meaty. Medium bodied. Well hidden booze. 13.9k!

BOTTLE 33 CL shared. Hazy ruby-red, off-white head. Rich smooth smoky aroma, smoked bacon, caramel. The taste is moderate caramel malts, spicier oaky smoke, pretty strong somewhat harsh smokey bitterness. Very good.

Bottle @ Chez Sophie. Pours a lightly misty reddish brown, small off-white head. HUGE smoked ham aroma. Taste is massive smoked meat, smooth smoked malts, quite rich but absolutely takes the smoked doppelbock to the next level. Awesome.
