Bottle. Clear orange/amber with a huge foamy white head. Aroma of redin, tropical and citrus fruits (mangos, apricots, lemons) with hints of smoked paprika. Taste is fruity and malty plus some caramel. Hot chili spiciness soon takes over but is kept to a moderate level. Medium carbonation. Balanced, refreshing and nice. One bottle is enough though.

500ml bottle. Cloudy dark amber colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Mild smoky, caramel malty and citrusy hoppy aroma, hints of orange, mandarine, chipotle. Taste is mildly smoky, caramel malty and citrusy hoppy, spicy, hints of orange, mandarien, accumulating hot chili spiciness. A by that time familiar theme well treated.

Bottle from Boxbeers. Clear amber red with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, light chili, slighly buttery and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with a chili bite. Fortunately the chili is not overwhelming. 230517

Borefts VIII. Day 2. Keg. Hazy amber beer, no head. Palate is dry and fairly crisp. Dry malts. Mild smoke. Decent ripe fruits underneath. Chilli starts to burn through the dry finish and lingers on and on. A bit tiresome.
