Draft at Pivovara Razum, Samobor, Croatia Wednesday 10th September 2025 after a 3hr 45mins drive from Brodarica nr Šibenik, weather was initially cloudy and drizzle today, but then shocking weather, absolutely battering it down with rain, however stopped now and improving though still cloudy. Pours gold, reasonable clarity, white head. I'm not sure quite how to describe this, it's just strange, okay looks good, mouthfeel good, do two positive ticks but taste, all I can say is that it's unusual, really unusual, I sort of get there's a solid maltiness, okay a bit grainy but overwhelmingly I get BBQ sauce which is completely bonkers. Not my thing.

Jan. ’16. On tap at the brewpub. I figured out I’ll never have it if I don’t go there myself, since I’m not that often in the northern parts of the country. Anyway, this was hazy golden colored, with a light orange hue and a medium sized head atop. Light, fresh herbal hoppy and light malt aroma. Flavor was lightly bitter, only a bit metallic but that didn’t bother too much. Simple, just some bready malt besides. Thin to medium in body with moderately long herbal dry finish. Average brewpub helles.

On tap at Potepuh Beer Fest Zagreb. Golden coloured, small white head, grainy nose. Malty, grainy, some mild herbal hoppy and rather weak bitterness in the finish. Pretty ordinary.

On tap at the Potepuh beer fest 2. Lovely daaark murky golden body with a huge white head. Nicely grainy aroma, slightly dusty, slightly sweet, some herbal hops, maybe a touch tangy. The taste.... nice creamy grainy notes, but slightly too watery. Far better than the macro lagers, but doesn’t thrill.

On tap at Potepuh beer festival. Pours hazy orange, small white head. Malty, grain aroma. Light body, soft carbonation. Sweet, malty, grain. Almost no finish. Average.

Hazy, yellow colored, moderate white head, lasting. Aroma is of malt, cereal and grains, hint fruits, some doughy yeast. Taste is grains, cereal, malt, some yeast and dough, very low hops note, low bitterness. Medium- bodied and carbonation. Yep... it’s unfiltered! And the hops are almost unnoticeable but still quite drinkable.
