Can at a tasting with buddies Cuso, Rubin77, Wendigo. Intensely hoppy, as it should be. Moderate bitterness, moderate body, but no obstructive maltiness. Loads of juicy exotic fruitiness. Very easy drinking, intense, very good.

Hazy APA by Lobik in Slovenia, thanks Davor for the can. Egg-white, frothy, initially thick but collapsing, mousy, opening head, hazy warm yellow blonde robe with pale orangey tinge. Aroma of spritzy orange zest, rambutan, ripe pineapple, dried lemon rind, baking soda, some rainwater and soap, green onions, starfruit, vague background ‘hoppy urine’. Fruity onset, but not too sweet, touches of lychee, orange and pineapple, sharpish and rather minerally carbonation (just a tad too much for this style), very subtle lime-like sourishness; smooth white-bready malt ‘soil’ with ongoing minerally effects and aromatic hoppiness, not overwhelmingly tropical as is often the case in the NEIPA idiom, but still elegant with aromatic notes of pink pepper, lemon rind and grapefruit, crisp and bright with a pleasant, powdery, eventually even somewhat wormwoody hop bitterness, stretching quite long over the finish while the whole remains sufficiently juicy. Crisp, minerally, dryingly quenching, easygoing NEIPA-inspired pale ale, less ‘tropical fruit lemonade’-like than is often the case these days but for me personally, this is not a bad thing.

Ljubljana Beer & Burger Festival, October 2017. Shared with lovely Anja! Murky, almost opaque golden, small off-white head. Moderately to heavily hoppy, fruity, a bit cheesy. Fairly bitter. Medium body, soft texture, moderate carbonation, nice finish. Liked it!

At a tasting, thanks, snmallish bubbly head, murky lemon yellow color, aroma of pine, apricot and orange behind, flavor of onion, herbs and orange juice behind, mellow slightly soapy herbal bitterness. Surprising, nice and enjoyable.

9 August 2018. At Craft Room, Zagreb. Cheers to Anke!
Sample. Cloudy yellow with a lasting, small, unstable, frothy, white head; irregular lacing. Aroma of fruity yoghurt, peach, white nectarine, passionfruit, lemon, hint of dough, papaya & carambola. It tastes medium fruity sweet, tropical, dough & yoghurt, a bit dank, and light to medium hoppy bitter, orange rind & grapefruit notes; toned down by a sour lemony accent. Dryish, floral & piney hoppy finish, lingering tropical fruit & yoghurt. Medium body, creamy/'fluffy' texture, fizzy carbonation. Recommended APA.
