Hazy amber pour, big rocky off white head.
Aroma of citrus hops, and some subtle resinous pine. The flavor on the other hand seemed a little off, the hops still came through, but i was getting a distinct butter, diacetyl flavor, that i just couldn’t shake.
the finish was quite bitter, and pleasant. a nice ipa, but the butter bugged me.
Re rate: the kinks have been worked out and this is now a world class ipa. And arguably the bestbwidely available ipa in Ontario. Huge pine and grapefruit aromas, verynunbalanced, but nectar of the gods for a hop head.

Can from LSBO, Grimsby, ON. Nose is pretty aggressive on the pine. Deep gold. West coast piney vibes in the taste and a dry bitter finish. Perhaps I just went on too many rollar coasters today but the ending is a little too much on the stomach. A nice IPA in any case.

[As Lone Pine West Coast IPA] Almost clear, pale golden color and a nice white head. Malty, piny, citric nose. Taste is overripe tropical fruits, piny and floral-earthy hops.

[ As Sawdust City Lone Pine IPA ].
ABV: 6.5%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, spruce, resin, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration, pine, spruce, fruity hops - citrus, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice.

Can @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grass, straw, fruits, hops, citrus and has a nice hoppy finish.

Can from Tanakaya. Nice pine aroma, quite full on. Taste is less so. Decent pine bitterness, bit of citrus and light tropical fruit, but the body is a bit lifeless. Maybe this hasn't made it to Japan in the best condition. Nice still though.
