Can at Craig's. Pours hazy pale yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of honey and light saline. Taste is thin, honey, paint again. They've covered the flaws in this one with flavourings.

Bottle. Slightly unclear straw yellow body without any head. Quite dominating honey aroma not leaving room for so much more. Flavor is sweet honey, some fruit and a bit undefined. Medium body and almost sticky sweet finish. Theoretical this mead seems to be interesting with citric fruit and salt, but it isn't. Way too Sweet.

330ml can. Slightly hazy pale yellow gold colour, white foamy head leaving lacing and aroma of zesty citrus, honey. Taste is sweetish, honey, floral herby, lemony and citra hoppy, with salty notes. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry lingering salty finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle at home, picked up a while back, 27/07/19. Hazed light golden yellow with an off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is honey, sweet edge, sea salt crystals, caramel, light herb. Taste comprises moderately sweet honeycomb but kept in check, sugars, faint lemon, seaweed. Medium bodied, fine to lightly spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Ok low boost mead ... the light salt levels take the edge of the sweetness.

Bottle from the beerhive. nose is baking yest, breakfast honey, citrus. Palate is citrus, set honey, just some hints of the baking yeast. It's very hard to make these low abv mead not taste like baking yeast. Maybe this one is also a little bit old (a year), but it should have made it better ;).

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, July 18, brought by me. Aroma is salty, honey-sweet. Taste presents a perry-like sweetness (thanks for suggesting that Jeremy), generally smooth with nice lemon notes and light citra. Quite sweet but balanced and smooth. Interesting mead.

On 23rd Jan 2019 I decided to change all my 34 'ticks' for no-beers into rates. Every 'tick' scored a '3', this will not change as they become 'rates'. My 'ticks' were Ciders, Meads, Perrys and Sake. This is a mead!
