DESCRIPTION
Wayfarer is our first ever unfined cask ale, and one whose cloudiness gave it a distinct juiciness. Very soft on the pallet this one. Wheaty and smooth.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 13th December 2016. Hazy yellow-gold with off-white part lacing foam. Caramel malt and citrus in aroma. Rich and intense fruitiness in-mouth, with apricot, strong biscuit and nutty malts. Bitter peel and nutty malts in a great finish. A lot of body and an engaging texture. Perhaps not to everybody’s taste but I absolutely loved it!

Pretty heavy wheat profile but juicy hops balance it out a bit.

Cask at Simon the Tanner. Very hazy gold beer, patchy white head. Light palate, low carbonation. Thin malts. Nice lemon and lime brightness over a light floralness. Very mild wheat character. Shame about the condition but a nice beer.

Cask at Simon the Tanner - London. Pours hazy yellow with a fine, creamy white head. Nice juicy citrus aroma, some lemon, pale wheat bread. Light sweet flavour with juicy, lightly gooey citrus character, more pale bread, low bitterness, lemon. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Alright balance to finish, more juicy lemon, light tangerine, doughy what. Not bad.

Cask at simon the tanner. A clouded dull golden coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is earthy raw grains, wheat, white bread, sweet tangerine. Flavour is composed of doughy grains, earthy tangy tangerine, bready white. A little custard sweet vanilla. Palate is grains, medium sweet, lowish carbonation. OK. Bit rough round the edges.
