Sample from 50 cl. bottle. Clear, amber-golden colour with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with ripe fruits, rich caramel malts, booze and marzipan. Taste is very sweet. Full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Lingering, sweet finish with overripe fruits, honey and alcohol. Lacks a bit depth compered with the German originals. However still good.

Bottle. A clear, amber colored beer almost without any head or carbonation. The aroma is quite reminiscent of mead, with a little spiced touch. Alcohol too. Sweet, honeyish flavor with a flowery touch and some spiced hints. Herbal more than spiced. It’s full-bodied and oily on the palate, lighlty warming. Lasting sweet finish with honey and flowers. Quite nice this one, although more reminiscent of mead than beer. 140118
