(Bottle) Brown colour with brief, foamy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, dates, caramel, burnt sugar, red apples, treacle-toffee, honey and orange peel. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, caramel, dates, figs, treacle-toffee, apples, nuts, honey, orange peel, a slight touch of peat, Madeira wine and a gentle spicy bitterness in a warming finish. Almost full body, quite sweet. Rich, vinous, warming and really tasty. Very nice.

Bottle, huge thanks Kristina! Shared with heavy. Misty ruby body, almost no head, off white traces. Lean, light aroma, caramel and light fruitiness, some alcohol later, okay. Soft, smooth, silky taste, creamy oxidized maltiness, light, interesting citric touches. Warming. Lovely mouthfeel, very much warming and respectable. Maybe a bit underrated at this point, classy stuff.

Bottle at �lvisholt, pours a hazy reddish amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a robust mix of caramel malt and resinous hops in wonderful cohesion. Flavour is balanced well, with lots of caramel malt, resinous hops, and a bit of holiday spices. Robust and complex. Lovely.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear mahogany colour, mid sized head. Rich caramelly malt aroma. Sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and madeira. Deep, richand pleasant, with warming finish.
