We’ve had plenty of fan-favorite beers over the years, but few have garnered the cult-like adoration of this one. Stone Notorious P.O.G. was originally brewed at our 10bbl Liberty Station brewhouse in San Diego, as a collaboration with comedian / actor Jonah Ray. It’s a tribute to the passion fruit, orange and guava juice (aka POG) he grew up drinking in Hawaii. This Berliner Weisse-style ale is loaded with the aforementioned trifecta of fresh, tropical fruits, making for a unique flavor that’s tart and refreshing yet deeply rich and complex. It’s as ridiculously tasty as it is deliciously unique.
This beer was first brewed with Jonah Ray for Hop-Con 4.0. It was such a hit that we decided to brew a limited amount again this year. Jonah grew up playing POGs while he was living in Hawaii and drinking POG Juice so he wanted to create a beer with POG in mind. A very refreshing tart ale with plenty of fruit character. Passion fruit and guava intermingle with an intense orange punch.
Admin Note: This was initially released as part of the Stone Pilot Series in a limited draft-only release.

Can coming from Amstein, St-Légier. Best before end of 2024, last beer before to sleep, yesterday, good option, no the impression to get 8%, light sourness, smooth, so fruity, syrupy, smooth, passion fruit, peach, bitter, lychee, full of aroma, good.

12fl oz can, well out of date. Drank at my daughters place in California on 7th December 2021. Cloudy pale yellow body, short lived white head. Not a sour Berliner Weisse by any means, but there is a 'tartness' about it. Not too sure I could pick up the P. O. G., but it does have a mini-sweetness trying to run through the base beer. Almost liked it!

Pours very hazy straw color with a huge off white head. Very fruity aroma and some kind of off smell. Flavor is of tropical fruit including guava and whatnot. There’s also an unfortunate off flavor that I’ve never had in a Stone beer. Wet cardboard? Not good.

Can from Geers. Hazy yellow, stable, frothy, white head. Enticing aroma of passionfruit pulp, mandarin, guava, pineapple, lemon peel, orange zest, yoghurt. Taste has sour passionfruit & mandarin zest, sweet guava & bitter orange peel, all perfectly balanced. Bit bready, yoghurty, creamy body. Zesty, low wheaty finish, soft floral hops but lots of passionfruit & guava. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Excellent BW, perfected, exceptionally refreshing.
