The five time hopped pale lager stands out due to its bitterness and aroma. The distinct taste and aroma of hops is provided by its last hopping, which is per-formed cold. It combines several kinds of malt giving the beverage its irresistible color.

on tap at Baracnycka Rychta in Prague. Golden yellow, large head. Very malty, slightly hoppy only, not bitter at all (although some bitterness is suggested by the name). Lovely!

Golden color; compact foam. There is some malt and some corn, it has a higher cereals character than an ordinary Pilsner, with a strong final; the hop is crispy but not much aromatic.

Bottle: Golden coloured, mid-sized lasting rocky off-white head; shy nose: herbal hoppiness, sweet malts; short initial sweet maltiness; moderate, drier, bitter flavour; delicate long, dry, aromatic hoppy aftertaste; quite light bodied; good overture, a weaker middle-section, but a real good finale.......

500 ml bottle, bought at Pivni Galerie, Prague. Golden colour, large lasting head. Strong fruity and flowery hops aroma, some malts in there too, faint hints of leather and camphor. Flavour is a hoppy bitter explosion from start to finish, verging on being too much, but there also is a delicate malty sweetness below which makes the bitterness acceptable. Long, bitter and dry aftertaste. Who said pilseners don’t taste of anything?

Dark golden. Big surprising grapefruit aroma. Dry, medium bodied, softly malty and very bitter, but also very drinkable. And it really tastes as though it is dry hopped with Cascade. An unusual but extremely tasty pilsener.
