Bottle shared at work. Mediocre stout with none to low coffee presence. Not faulty or anything, just painfully uninteresting.

Kupljeno u Kauflandu. Stout iz Varionice, poznate naše pivovare. Pio sam i bolja njihova izdanja. Malo je prevodenasto za jedan stout iako ima 6.2% alk.

Unclear, dark brown to black colored, small beige head. Aroma is of roasted malt, coffee, biscuit, light dark fruit. Taste is medium sweet malt, biscuit, light caramel, plenty of coffee, some dark fruit, moderate- roasty bitterness, dry coffee finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation, watery to oily. Bit thin.

On tap @Medina Škrinja, Varaždin. Black pour, one finger frothy beige head, medium lasting. Solid lacing on the glass. As expected, huge coffee on the nose. Coffee and roasted malt pretty much covers it. Thin body, medium carbonation. Light mouthfeel and texture, somewhat watery. Well, like the regular Neon really. Which is a shame to be honest, a bit fuller body would do wonders here. Taste and aroma are pretty much spot on. Roasty, bitter taste with huge coffee and latte notes. Roasted malts, mild cocoa, subtle herbal notes. Quite dry. Lingering drying bitterness on the tongue, subtle alcohol, well balanced. Long lasting finish. Overall, thin body aside, this was pretty good. If you love your coffee this is definitely something worth trying.

Bottle from Pivoteka Zagreb, shared with the Raven crew. Murky brown body, tiny head. Enormous, wonderful aroma, coffee, chocolate, cookies, complex and enticing. Soft, far too soft sweetish taste, coffee, chocolate, some honey. I'm liking this more than most others I guess, and the coffee used is excellent, but tweaking of the base might be needed.

33cl bottle at Leopold's Delicatessen Bar, Split, Croatia. Pours plum dark with absolutely no foam. Aroma is coffee non not much else. Body is just a little denser than average, with moderate carbonation. Still, I find this ticking carbonation kind of annoying in a stout. Taste is only moderately bitter, the toasty flavor dominating. Finish is average.
