Bottle from the brewery. Pretty classic polotmavy, even with the moderate diacetyl slapped on top. Otherwise a pretty malt-forward beer, with moderate caramelly, light nutty, toasted malt character. Light grassy earthy hops in the backbone. Medium bitterness, medium sweetness. Works, drinkable. Would be better without the diacetyl, but whatever, still good-ish.

Draught, 5.4% at the brewpub. Sweet, caramelly and sugary aroma. Clear dark chestnut colour. Creamy light brown head. The flavour is quite roasted with roasted malt syrup notes. A vinous finish makes it seem a bit stronger than its ABV.

On tap at OSSEGG, pours a hazy dark amber red with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out earthy, bready malt, and light fungal notes. Flavour is dry and bready, with a nice bready malt character, light toasted caramel, and a hint of toasted nuts. Clean and well-balanced. A solid tmav.
