Strong top fermented dark special beer. The beer is brewed from seven types of malt. It matured in oak chips for seven months. Its characteristics are coconut flavour, a touch of vanilla and roasted tons. Also whiskey flavour (oak wood) can be found in the aroma. We recommend serving with beef cheeks or chocolate ice cream.

Nam.

Tap at BeerGeek Bar, shared with Nisse666 (thanks!). Pitch black body with a beige head. Barrel or, rather, chips immediately in evidence, bourbon/vanilla, alcohol, some wood, some alcohol. Chocolatey notes mix with woody/vanilla-like chips notes in the taste, some alcohol, bit astringent, though not too much. Tannins show up more as it warms, of course, but while I'm not all over it, this is a good BA Imperial Stout. Just not a great one, the chips kinda overrode everything, not completely but enough for it not to thrill. Always a risk with them...

Draught at BeerGeek Bar. Lightly cloudy, brown to black colored. AROMA- roasted malts, chocolate, alcohol, fresh wood, cocoa. FLAVOR- sweet, lightly bitter, roasted malts, strong fresh wood, cocoa. Medium to fuller bodied.
Too strong fresh wood tones, otherwise a bit empty for imperial stout.
