330ml bottle from Scottish Ale Shop, Kilmahog - Dark black body, big tan head. It's all about the nose with this one, cold brew coffee, sweet mocha, more roast coffee bean. Taste an anti-climax, watery coffee, slack mouthfeel. A bit of a let down.

Black Wolf Valente Double Espresso Bottle 33 cl. Pours black with an orange hue and a small, rough, off-white head. Very, very sweet coffee aroma. Body is light, almost watery with very sweet coffee notes. You hardly get any beer feel at all – this is close to an iced coffee. Only if you have a very sweet mocha craving. 110219

Tasting @ Koelschtrinker. Beginning of roasted hazelnuts. Smooth and thick, rich with lots of roast, but not too intense bittered. Like nice hazelnut latte macchiato, not too sweetish but very round and mild. No bitterness in the end, smooth coffee espresso with nice hazelnuts. Fantastic.

Bottle at home. Opaque deep brown to black colour. Two finger tall airy beige head of low retention. The aroma is instant coffee, roast, cream. Light to medium body. Medium dry taste. Roast & coffee. Low bitterness. Good drinkability.

Bottle from Asahiya. A cola black with a pronounced tan head. This English brew has a nutty chocolate espresso aroma. A bit too light, syrupy slick with a rough CO2 - this would be awesome on cask. The taste is syrupy sweet chocolate espresso - a touch fake but nice enough.

Bottle, 6%. Black with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, caramel and liquorice. Flavour is roasted malts, sweet, caramel, weird coffee, thin, little liquorice, little bread, sugar and a little bitter.
