Cask at The Punch Bowl in York. Pours dark amber with a creamy beige head. Slightly toffee aroma. Med body. Flavor is sort of toffee/malty. And it seems a bit spicy.

Cask at the Lord Moon on the Mall (JDW), 05/04/13. Clear reddish amber with a decent sized beige head that retains well. Good lacing ensues. Nose carries dark malt, biscuit, dark fruit, light metallic tang. Taste comprises caramel, biscuit, cheesecake base, malt, fruits, touch of hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation fairly smooth on the palate, plenty of malt and fruit in the finish. Ok drinkable fayre.
