Cask at the Victoria Station Spoons - London. Pours clear red-brown with a frothy, off-white head. Nicely toasted bread in the nose with soft roast and dried berries. Light to medium sweet with pleasant bittersweet cocoa, moderate roast, bitter earth and toasted pine, some orange rind. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely balanced on the finish with touches of ashy roast, dried fruits, bitter earth, dry cocoa. Not bad.

Crosse Keys Spoons. Cask. Bright clear paleish gold beer, untidy white head. Palate is light and crisp. Nice condition. Sweetish malts. Big Cream Soda vibe here, not subtle. Light citric hops bring balance. Dry finish. A curious but very drinkable beer!

Breakfast beer at Victoria Spoons. Cask. It pours deep brown with a decent beige head. The nose is toasty, coffee, sweet citrus, earth, wood, coffee and light sherbet. The taste is firm bitterness, pine needles, earth, lemonade, sherbet, citrus peel, toasty, mild coffee and wood with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Nice balance. A well crafted American brown, which is easily one of Mordueโs best beers.

Cask handpull at Willow Walk Spoons. Clear dark brown colour lasting beige head. Yes a tasty American brown ale. Always like this style of beer. Good malty hoppy balance. Good condition and quite a lovely beer.

Cask @ The Waterhouse, Manchester. Very dark reedy-brown, clear, with a creamy, slightly off-white head. Has some coffee in its aroma and its grainy malt which is mildly roasted is dominant in its taste followed by a bitterness.

Cask at the crosse keys bank. Nice ruby red coloured pout with a lasting thin cream head. Aroma is resin, pine hop, some earthy and berry. Flavour us clean berry hop resin, varnish, nutty malt with a bit of tobacco. Palate is medium sweet, soft carbonation. Lingering earthy berry and bitter lemon. Very tasty brown ale.
