Almost clear nutty in the glass with no head Good intensity in the aroma. Some strange perfumed notes though Soft carbonation level. Quite balanced sweetness Fruity, toffee and candy flavor with a solid malty backbone Not to inviting at first. But got really better after a while out in the free world [Bottle from YouΒ΄ll Never Walk Alone in Kolding, Denmark]

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a tiny, rough head. A few big bubbles that disappear in no time. Sweet overripe fruit on the nose, "noble rot" - quite complex really. Very rich and sweet body, completely flat. Very vinous, Sauternes-like, quite complex with a very boozy finish. A pity Kragelund cannot force carbonate. This beer is way more complex and challenging than the ratings indicate. 030216
