Bottle shared at my 5K tasting. It pours pale gold with a small white head. The nose is doughy, toast, grass, brioche, lemon peel and sherbet. The taste is crisp, toast, dough, earth, lemon peel, lime and some soap with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Fresh and crisp. Pretty alright stuff.

Bottled. Hazy golden, coarse head. Rubbery grapefruit aroma. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Apples, rubber, spicy hay and resin. Sharp bitter finish.

33cl bottle from Oddbins London Bridge. Clear gold beer with lasting white head. Touch of toffee butter on aroma. It’s a toffeeish blond beer. Good mouthfeel, some carbonation on finish, bit too buttery for me. Some hop sting on finish.

A pale golden beer with a head that dissipates quite quickly and a mild, slightly hoppy aroma. The flavour is mostly hoppy and bitter with a slightly sour or citrus edge (it’s faint, I couldn’t quite pick it up.) Refreshing enough with an aftertaste that’s also hard to place.

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Good lacing. Aroma of straw, grass, passionfruit and lemon. Flavour of lemon, lime, passionfruit, cereal and caramel. Thin to medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Bright and crisp. An excellent beer.
