Suzie maybe red, but underneath she is layered with carbon fibre, strong and smooth this Black IPA is not an 853 steel tubed affair from the 80's, hopped in the kettle and fv with mosaic,
welcome to the dark side.....

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Colin. Pours deep brown with a creamy khaki head. Nice aroma with decent roast, grapefruit, burnt herbs, pine. Light sweet flavor with dried berries, rind, subtle earthy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Subtle piney resins in the finish, some toasty bread, citrus rind. Easy going.

Bottle thanks to Colin. It pours black with a decent tan head. The nose is earthy roast, coffee cake, chocolate, must, mild fruit cake, raisin and burnt pine. The taste is bitter-sweet, smooth roast, coffee grounds, dark chocolate, toasty, coffee cake and charred stuff with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Smooth and well-rounded. Solid stuff.
