Bottle at the brewery, 06/09/14. Clear pale golden with moderate off white spotting and edgework. Nose is spice, lemon rind, tarte citrics, light acidic tinge, straw, earthy. Taste comprises mellow citric notes, lemon curd, not a huge amount of depth to this one. Light to medium bodied, light citric wash and earthy straw in the close. Ok but not a lot to it.

Haxy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and semi dry and a little crisp. Light malts. Nice lemon, tangy with a hint of gueuzey sourness. Light dry finish. Lemon linger. Simple stuff but tasty and drinkable.

Keg at Partizan. It hazy gold with a small white head. The nose is fresh, fruity, wood, earth, lemon, green apple, sherbet, melon, light vanilla, wood and pear. The taste is crisp, tart lemon, grapefruit, mild acidity, earthy, straw, wood and grassy notes with a dry finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp, tart and super drinkable. Yum.
