Medium coarse pale beige head. Clear dark brown body. Faint fruity aroma. Dry-sweet fruity grape and freshly cut wood taste with spicy notes. Mild, soft, flat mouthfeel. Dryish fruity perfumy grape aftertaste with spicy caramel notes. Lovely, drinkable, subtle. Can’t really pick up the rye much. (0.237l cask at Union Tavern, London.)
