Our big bold IPA, this beer is all about the hops. Tropical fruits on the nose with a strong but refreshing bitterness. This IPA is more than just OK

Cask at The Lyric, Soho. It pours hazy amber with a medium off-white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, juicy pine, tangerine, mango marmalade and bread. The taste is bitter, pine, varnish, grassy, grapefruit, bitter orange, pithy, marmalade, peppery spice, earth and some sweet brioche with a lingering bitter - dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Could be done serving a bit cooler imo. Decent enough cask IPA.

Handpull cask from Ealing Park Tavern. Amber, fairly clear, with a small white head. Goody resinous smell which has to compete with a vegetal squashy note and a hint of rubbing alcohol. Bittersweet taste with that vegetal note again. Finish is much more bitter and sits complacently at the back of the tongue and the throat for a long while. Heavy bittering hop on the aftertaste. Pretty good all in all.

Cask at the Ealing Tavern. Orangey gold colour, white foam head and tropical fruit and citrus aroma. Taste is malt caramel with a mellow orange citrus & pine hop resin bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Cask at the Ealibg Park Tavern - London. Pours clear, vibrant gold with a frothy white head. The aroma holds wood, bread, ripe orange and faint caramel. Medium sweet flavorbwith sugary bread, grass, melon, pine, orange. Medium bodied with fine carbonation, lightly resinous and oily on the finish, with a little bit of boozy warmth, more grassy bitterness, minerals, ripe citrus, grainy bread. Drinkable.
