Keg at Brew By Numbers new tap room. Very hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, semi dry and has decent carbonation. Light malts, dry and with thin creamy sweetness. Sweetish floral before a nice pink grapefruit and spicy orange peel. Hop spice and blood orange. Traces of lemon and tropical fruits. Light dry finish. A satisfying SIPA, a rare thing for me.

Keg @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Hazy amber coloured with a thin head. There’s lots of fruity citrus notes in the ale, but not too sour, although lacks in its aftertaste. Crisp with plenty of nose.

Bottle split just below the flight path, extra kudos for the gunning down of this gap in the range tick @thanks to Kemps, 10/06/15. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is tangy citric peel, lemon rind, straw, mandarin, peach, hop jus. Taste comprises citric peel, orange pith, melon, mandarin, light herbal strokes, grassy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent SIPA.
