Cask at Bird in Hand, Stafford. Pours a hazy to cloudy golden amber with medium sized off-white head and good lacing. The aroma is mainly tropical fruits. In the mouth it has a creamy texture, but with some bitter hints. Flavour has malts and spices plus traces of gignger, honey and grapefruit. It's reasonable.

Cask ale, half pint, shared with Finn at Commercial Rooms (JDW). Clear golden-brown body, missing head, poor lacing. Vague caramel and dried fruity on the nose. Modest taste profile of leafy hops and caramel malts. Malt-fruity endnotes. Accepted. (Bristol 30.04.2017).
