On tap at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - amber with no head. Quite flat too. Nose - lime and spice. Light biscuit. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall -unusual.

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours clear amber, no head, almost still. Big lime leaf aromas, back drop of orange. Taste is more lime leaf, faint sour. No chilli heat I can find. Ok.

Keg at the Brewdog Shepard’s Bush. Hazed burnt orange coloured pour with a lasting white off white head. Aroma is massive perfume, Turkish delish, floral. Comes across as a bit soapy. Flavour is composed of bit perfume, tangy spicy vegetables, crisp. Little warming spice at the back of the throat, tickles, little drying salt, but not enough to gose it make. Palate is crisp and light, highish carbonation. Interesting but too much perfume.

Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Hazy Amber. No head. Nice, funky fruitiness. Big on the lemon and lime. Soft spice. Taste is a bit crackers, really. Dry. Salty. Spicy. Tart. Herby bitter. Chilli heat at ear itching level. Light sourness. How this is so tasty at just 4% is pretty impressive. Loads going on, not all of which is cohesive, but I did like this. Went really well with the Missus’s chickpea curry.
