Cask handpull County Hotel Ashford jdw. Clear gold colour lasting beige head. Aroma of lemongrass and caramel. Soft in mouth. More herbiage in the flavour. Not really my thing. Ok but not having a second pint.

Cask at the white lady. Pours clear gold, thin creamy white head. Light jasmine, light lemon aromas. Heavy lemon on the taste, light spice note, light sweet. Building bitterness as it goes down. Nice.

Cask at Pilgrim’s Progress (JDW), Bedford. Golden and crystal clear with a bit of wispy head. Heavy lacing. Perfumed smell, a bit of jasmine and tea tree, freshly squeezed clementine, a hint of pine. Sweet and slightly flowery taste, with enough of a soft citrus bitterness in the background to keep it from getting sickly. Lemongrass and pepper in the finish. Light body. Slight sour-bitterness to the finish. Just the right amount of carbonation. Loved it.
