Chestnut to mahogany colour, small off-white to beige head. Aroma of caramel and spices (coriander, cinnamon, fennel, ginger, caraway, cloves and nutmeg). Bottle from Booths Supermarket, Media City. Clear dark copper-amber. Spicy ale with a robustness for it, it also feels smoked in its aftertaste. Its spiciness is a gentle one with a herbal-infused aroma. Decent winter ale.
