Cask at the King & Castle, Tourist Town, 17/03/15. Clear golden orange with a decent off white cap that retains well. Nose is bready malt, light fruits, lemon, hint vanilla, caramel. Taste comprises bready malts, straw, faint citric peel, caramel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterings. Bland ... yawwwn.

From cask at The Crown Rivers at Heathrow Airport 20.03.15. Dark golden. Beige head. Moderate aroma with sweet English caramel and hops. Also a hint of grapefruit. Similar taste. Well-balanced and tasty with good drinkability. Medium bitterness. Soft mouthfeel.

Cask at the Moon under water Watford Jdw. Light amber / golden coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is a bit diacetyl forward, toffee and background malt vinegar. Flavour is weird spicy veg broth, nutty malts, pretty sweet. Palate is dishwatery thin, low carbonation. Undrinkable.

Cask at the Queens’ Hotel (JDW), Aldershot. Bright amber with a loose white head; gentle citrus aroma; soft fruity taste; and a dry finish. I much preferred the RCH Boadicea to this one.
