Cask at the King & Castle, Tourist Town, 17/03/15. Clear golden orange with a decent off white cap that retains well. Nose is bready malt, light fruits, lemon, hint vanilla, caramel. Taste comprises bready malts, straw, faint citric peel, caramel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterings. Bland ... yawwwn.

Cask at the Moon under water Watford Jdw. Light amber / golden coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is a bit diacetyl forward, toffee and background malt vinegar. Flavour is weird spicy veg broth, nutty malts, pretty sweet. Palate is dishwatery thin, low carbonation. Undrinkable.

Cask at the Queens’ Hotel (JDW), Aldershot. Bright amber with a loose white head; gentle citrus aroma; soft fruity taste; and a dry finish. I much preferred the RCH Boadicea to this one.
