On cask at the Waterman's Arms, near Ashprington. Appearance - more amber than gold. Nicely proportioned head. Nose - toffee and lots of cereal. Perhaps some citrus but it's well hidden. Taste - more toffee and biscuit. Orange if you really go looking for it. Palate - creamy and close to medium bodied. Could be a lot fresher. Overall - a bit bland.

7th July 2018. Cask half-pint, gravity poured; The Boars Head, Bishops Castle. Golden body, white crown. Semi-sweet with more malt in the aromas and taste than hop, easy drinking brew that isn't going to test your senses too greatly.
