Named after an early 1900’s hop store building at St. James’s Gate where hops are still stored, Hop House 13 is a double-hopped lager made with Irish barley and aromatic hops and continues the 256 years of heritage and brewing excellence at St. James’s Gate.
A crisp and full-flavoured lager with subtle malty notes and fresh hop aromas with hints of Apricot and Peach.

Aroma a milho e cereais. Notas metálicas. Ligeiro, muito ligeiro lúpulo. . Algo banal

Old rating from 12-04-16 - 330ml bottle. Pours a golden colour with a white foamy head & lively carbonation. Aromas of grain & malt. Tastes of much of the same especially malt. A fair amount of malt & hops in the aftertaste. Overall not terrible, but then not something I have a second off.

From tap at The Hop House (Kim Chi), Dublin, 21.03.25. Clear pale golden. Dense and artificially looking persistent head and lacing. Aroma and taste of pale malt, Sevilla marmalade and grains. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel – perhaps served with nitro.

Bottle, koszi Petra! Clear golden pour, no head. Nose is malty, herbal and a bit citrusy. Taste ks basically the same, with short finish. Light, almost watery body, average carbo.

Cab from the lcbo. Gold pour, large white head. Aroma is grassy, pale sweet malts, slightly nutty, not very hop housey at all. Low carb, silky mouth feel. Sweet malts, no hops in the end. Meh.

Bottiglia. Al naso arrivano indizi di orzo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is grainy malt, cereal, with a hint of hops and peach. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Only a hint of hops, but not a terrible Lager.
