Share on 7.30.16, 16oz can from Jeremy. Another in a long line of juicy East Coast IPAs, hard to believe its an IIPA. Citrusy aroma, some toned down hoppiness. More grapefruit citrus in the taste, silky smooth body, Seems light due to the citrus, but has a nice heft to it.

Can thanks to Andrew. Pours a cloudy orange with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is pineapple, grapefruit, dank. Medium body, juicy hop, tangerine, grapefruit, light resin finish, very good.

Can at the brewery (thanks Adam), 5/21/16.
A warm-toned marigold-peach body is clear but has a strong chill-haze. White head atop very quickly recedes to nothing.
Mango, pineapple, alcohol, pine, nectarine, lemon, white grapefruit, more alcohol, more pineapple and finally more pine. Add caramel to taste and voila, you’re done.
Sadly Long Trail’s version of the New England DIPA is a far, far cry from anything HF, TH or Trillium, but it’s certainly a step-up from Sam Adams utter garbage (which isn’t saying much). The hop flavors are there, for the most part, with a soft, malty texture and potentially good balance, were it not for just too much raw booze. It combines with too much resin, as well, and sour pineapple-like notes to quickly fatigue and disinterest the palate. With each further sip, there’s a promising juiciness up front, but it just goes to hell. Oh ya, exactly like the Stone Enjoy By Unfiltered.

Orange. Hazy. 1 finger head. Smells juicy and piney. Little dank-Ness with grapefruit. Woo, that’s bitter. Really lovey citrus taste up front. Finish is intensely bitter. Malty and resilient to my taste buds that are really just craving a glas of water

Pours clear amber into a Shaker. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes to coat surface. Hot caramel and tropical fruit aromas. Sweet caramel, citrus and pine front to back. Lasting pith finish.

16 oz. can split by Willrunforbeer. No canning date? Really, no date? What if it sits for any amount of time? Ok... Anyway. Slightly hazy orange with no head. Aroma is nicely dank. Pine, scallion, mosaic like hop profile.

Flavor is nicely dank. Good pine, mild caramel, grapefruit peel, and mild floral hints. The alcohol is nicely hidden and not as sweet. Really good for this Brewer. Not sure what the huge hype is all about in New England but this is real drinkable.

Pour from can into 4 oz taster. Aroma is indeed citrus with a bit of pine and some toast/caramel malt as well. Appearance is clear yellow with nice white foamy head and mild sparkle. Taste is sweet citrus and caramel maltiness with light corn and pine with some hoppy bitterness counterweight. Palate is light to medium bodied with average texture and carbonation. Overall, this is enjoyable with some nice complexity worthy of the style.

42nd Floor Tasting. Thanks to LKS for the DIPA leg up. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy with mild fine carbonation. Soft fluffy sweet pale malts, light cream. Dank skunky hops, soft pine and a little marmalade. Skunky soft finish. Nice.
