Named after an early 1900’s hop store building at St. James’s Gate where hops are still stored, Hop House 13 is a double-hopped lager made with Irish barley and aromatic hops and continues the 256 years of heritage and brewing excellence at St. James’s Gate.
A crisp and full-flavoured lager with subtle malty notes and fresh hop aromas with hints of Apricot and Peach.

Half pint on tap at Beer Station (Madrid.) It pours very bubbly pale golden with a thick ivory nitro head. Aroma is, on the foreground, oranges; on the background, grass. Mouthfeel is soft and light, but rendering a nice bitter finish that lasts a while. Not bad.

On a plane from LHR to Dublin. Clear amber with small white head. Clean with moderate floral hops in support. Not too bad.

Bottle at Peter and Mariskas, 9th March 19. Pours a dark amber, more so than I expected for the style. Aroma is caramel, malt, straw. Taste is sweet, caramel, some bitterness. Lots is taste for the style

Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het is een wat goudgeel bier met een wit schuim welke snel weg trekt. Het heeft een moutige en hoppige geur. De smaak is moutig, droog en licht hoppig.

Bottled 330ml. -from Geant Albertville. Darker golden coloured, medium sized white head, whiff of cardboard in the nose. Sweetish malty, light grainy, some cardboard and touch of cereals with dry sweetish finish.

330ml bottle from Ken Warne, Darlington. Amber colour, white foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt, hay, grassy. Taste is sweetish malty, biscuit, fruity with some straw, hay, and grassy bitterness. Medium bodied, high carbonation, dry tangy slightly metallic bitter finish. OK
