Cask, on gravity at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol October 2015. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Sweet, cereal malts, a touch of overripe fruit, floral hops and a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Cask @ Beckett’s Bank, Leeds. Amber with a thin head. The spice is the dominant characteristic in the ale, although not overbearing, however it doesn’t impart the greatest of tastes. It’s still a fairly malty ale.

Crosse Keys Spoons. Cask. Light haze on this pale gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, low carbonation. Sweet floralness that turns quite bitter. Green apples. Light finish. A mess.

Cask at the crosse keys. Clear golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting white frothy head. Aroma is subdued, grains, creamy , vanilla, custard. Flavour is raw grains, custard, alcohol bite, rough and a but rustic. Palate is light and fluffy on the tongue, lowish carbonation, soft. Some green apple in the finish.

Cask handpull at Knights Templar Spoons. Gold slightly haze lasting white head. Slightly sour slight rubber some ok pale malt Sone orange fruit. Some age whatever that means. Odd beer but interesting. Too many weird flavours to make it drinkable but I finished the half pint.
