Bottle from Scrattings. Cloudy gold with brief fizzy white top. Aroma of musty fruity apple skins and core. Taste of apple skins, slight tartness, medium sweet and semi-dry finish. Quite good.

Botttle from Berry, Grape & Grain. Golden body with a light haze. Steady carbonation. Aroma of crisp apple, lemon and oak. Flavour of dry crisp apple and a medium dry finish. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Bright and delicious. Almost as good as their Owl cider for me.

Pale yellow colour with a light haze. Nice aroma with some initial funk although this mellows as the cider breathes in the glass. Straw, hay and a soft sweetness that is quite like that of a typical red apple. The tannins come through well adding some dryness and a slightly bitter edge. Very good.

Bottle from an Amble grocer. Pours hazy yellow with no real head. Steady carbonation though. Aromas of light sherbet, apple, faint wood. Taste is dry and little funky apple skin. Interesting cider.

Bottle from the Shops at Dartington. Appearance - cloudy orange. Gentle bit steady bubbles. No head. Nose - dry tangy apples and apple skin. Taste - dry apple skin. Then sour apples. Palate - tangy and close to medium bodied. Very dry finish. The Overall - good traditional style.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of apple, apple core, and hints of lemons. The flavor is a bit sour with notes of apples, lemons, and apple core, leading to a tart finish. Crisp.

Backlog. From bottle consumed on train from Algeciras to Barcelona 20.07.17. Cloudy peach colour. Small white head. Aroma of leather, red apples and sulphur. Similar taste, with apple zest lingering on. Some apple zest bitternes.

Bottle bought online in Japan. D/b May 2019. Rich apple nose, baked apple, light chalk, quite a bit of tannin. Deep gold with lace. Dry and tannic, a bit puckery, apples, skin, minerals. Much drier than the Barn Owl, a lot more tannic, not so tart. Nice stuff, a bit drier than I like, lots of tannin, but a nice apple flavor too. Very light carbonation.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy yellow colour. Powerfull moderate apple aroma. Moderate dry nice aplle flavor, but lacks barnyard notes. Average finish. Oily palate.
