Cask, on gravity at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol October 2015. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Sticky, cereal malts, marmalade fruit, caramel sweetness and a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Cask at The Pennsylvanian (Spoons), Rickmansworth, Herts. A golden coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Hoppy, malty, fruity aroma. Tastes the same, hoppy, fruity, malty, slightly sweet. Average fayre.

Crosse Keys Spoons. Cask. Lightly hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, with modest fine carbonation. Smooth malts, not that sweet. Brief tangerine before orange and orange squash. Floral orange follows and gives way to strongly bitter orange marmalade and harsh floral bitterness. Light finish. Strong bitter linger. Pretty bitter but getting reasonable hop fruits.

Cask at the crosse keys. Amber orange colours pour with a fading off white head. Aroma is toffee berry , varnished pine table, unrefined sugars. Flavour is composed of burnt toffee, pine, berry. Palate is medium sweet, sticky on the tongue, moderate cask condition firm bitterness. Pretty enjoyable.

Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW - London. Pours clear, burnished gold with a frothy, off-white head. The nose has wood, toasted leaves, minerals, dried berries. Light sweet flavor with some light berry tang, dry woody aspect, bitter leaves, flinty minerals. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with bitter orange rind, more leaves, light plastic, wood, toast, berries. A little rough at the edges.

7Cs. Copying Kernel here, quite frankly. Just a touch too malty for the style. Need some Simpson's Pale but otherwise solid effort.

Cask at the Tilly Shilling (JDW), Farnborough. A golden amber pour with no head; sweet fruity aroma; the taste is a pleasant melange of bitter hops, some citrus, some herbs and some pine, with nothing dominating; then a nicely balanced rounded bitter finish. Not bad.
