Tap Takeover. Kings Arms. Keg. Hazy gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and finely crisp. Sweetish fluffy creamy malt base. Hops are nice mix of citrus and pine. The citric hop has a definite lemon tang, from the Lemon Drop hops I presume. Mild bitterness and hop spice. Light finish. Nice beer.

Tap. Craft Beer Co, Clapham. 2nd October. Hazy, yellow gold. Film and a few bubbles of white. Pithy citrus rind. Bready malts. A bit grassy. The missus thought this was a saison affair. Taste is robust, pithy, zesty bitter. Some dryness. Mineral tang. Crisp, fresh palate. Finishes zesty, funky, and crisp.

Tap at King’s Arms. It pours cloudy gold with a small white. The nose is fresh, juicy, grassy, sticky, fresh lemon, grapefruit and bread. The taste is crisp, really rather bitter, grassy, big pine character, peppery, grapefruit, rather woody, minerals and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Rather bitter stuff. Pretty bitter. Probably the best offering at the take-over.
