Our Mosaic Session IPA is a light, straw-colored, West Coast version that showcases serious aroma. It features Mosaic, Simcoe, and Centennial hops that lend strong tropical fruit characteristics to a light body and dry finish. You won’t be able to drink just one – and with less than 5% ABV, you don’t have to. Mosaic Session IPA is an homage to Blue Point Brewing Company’s storied history, a tale that is preserved on the original Tasting Room bar top that dates to 1997. It’s also one of the most personal beers we’ve crafted in a long time. Like the brewery itself, it’s been a work in progress. Our history is very much a mosaic – made up of a lot of talented people with a passion for brewing, and we think this latest brew is where our past meets our future.

Bottled. Nice hoppy aroma, floral and dirt. Water came on strong later. Not my favorite even for a session

Bottle. Slightly cloudy, copperish gold with a medium head that quickly disappears. Taste and aroma both are overwhelmingly pine and spruce with a tad of citrus fruit.

Pours hazy with a white head. Heavy aroma of fruity hops. Tastes like an ipa with heavy fruit influences. Citra hops and fruit make up the palate. Very good IPA.

Pour is a hazy blonde with a large white head. Aroma is a ok mosaic tropical fruit but this also has a bit of metal. Flavor is some tropical fruit and dry bready malt. A moderate amount of bitterness hits you after the swallow. This was a decent session ale. For this brewer, this is one of the more hoppier beers they make.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with large foamy white head, very faint malty aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter taste with a hint of citrus peel and floral hops, thin body, medium bitter finish. They must have used very little Mosaic, since the flavor is almost not there.

slightly opalescent darker golden colour, medium sized dense off-white head; aroma of grapefruit, resiny notes, orange zest, some tropical fruits and hints of sauerkraut; taste is the same with some bready notes; refreshing beer - I’m sure that I would substantially overrate it if it was a hot summer day...on a winter evening like this, it has less chance for this :-)

355ml bottle. Barely clear, golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly earthy, fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of mango, passion fruit, black currant, bramble, blueberry, caramel malty background. Taste is moderately bitter hoppy, fruity, notes of mango, passion fruit, black currant, bramble, blueberry slowly fade away and give way to a chalky, mineral finish.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Cigarette City. Appearance is slightly hazy, straw-colored yellow with greenish tinge, nice sparkle, short-lived finger-width white fizzy head and trace lacing. Aroma is strong grapefruit, tropical fruit with milder resin, scallions and mild pine. Taste is bitter dominant strong grapefruit, resin over milder pine and tropical fruit. Palate is light bodied with thin, foamy texture, lively carbonation and dry, crisp, bitter grapefruit finish. Overall, a light, refreshing, crisp, sessionable beer with strong flavor and aroma but a little over to the bitter side for me.

Bottle. Pop the lid and my nose is slightly insulted with a mild BO and rubber inner tube perfume. I think I smell a little skunk in there too, is that possible? Pale clear color. Taste is a carry over from the aroma, inner tube and nasty chewing on green grapefruit rind flavors overwhelm my senses. Difficult IPA nastiness. So rude. But I guess this is what IPA is all about, go figger. Whew. Can not enjoy. Insults my lager loving taste buds. Lets get a fresh real rubber inner tube from the harley dealer and chew on it for a while after we twist and smell it for 10 minutes.
