Gravity poured half-pint at the Kings Head, Norwich on 20 Apr 2013. Golden amber body with a thin white crown that didn’t hang around. Semi-sweet for an IPA with a mildly malt nose, where have the hops gone? Traces of citrus smells as the beer warmed a little in the glass and a mini bitter finish in the taste, otherwise we are talking malts here. Solid enough (I like sweet flavoured brews), but I was expecting a hoppy IPA like usual, not a slightly citrus/grapefruit tasting beer with a malt front and aroma.

On gravity at the Volunteer, Bristol 30/3/2013. Amber with a decent white head. Sweetish, peach and tangerine fruits, with some spicy hops and a dryish finish. Good.

Bottle drank in my stylish pastiche bar at home. Golden/amber pour with a light beige head. It’s frothy man! Well carbonated this one. Fresh citrus nose, predominantly lemon and grapefruit. Lemon zest, grapefruit and light herb flavours. Fresh hop tang. Strong, bitter finish. Nice.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2011. Deep gold slight haze. No real head. Some hops on aroma fruit salad style. Better in mouth. A little syrupy but some decent pepper hop on finish. Quite tasty but funnily enough a little watery too. Some sherbert hop. Initialy I wasnt yhat keen but it did win me over

Cask, Gravity at Banbury Beer Festival, Oxon, 08-05-09 Pours warm gold with a filmy white head. Plenty of ripe fruity flavours and its malty, but overall I agree with what Glen says this is let down by its sweetness, thick and rather cloying at times, its sticky but its still not so bad.
