Bottle. Pours hazy candi apple red, large white-pink head, dissipates slower than most but still fully diminishing with little lacing. Aroma is more raspberries than cherry, lactic, woody, funk. Flavor is light plus tart, lactic, berries present but more muted than in most imperial Bu’s. LIght plus woody funk. Light body and bubbly carbonation. Pretty good.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell 10/9/2015. Thanks to Padraig for this one. Clouded pinky orange peach coloured pour with a halo of pink head. Aroma is light grains, sour, grape, Watermelon. Flavour is composed of super sour puckering, spicy acid, very acidic, marzipan, strawberry. Palate is acidic sour, spritzy carbonation. Very sour indeed.

Craft Clerkenwell Bottle Share. Thank to Padraig. Hazy amber beer, decent if short lived pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry and mildly crisp. Tart apple, cherry and lemon! Some sugary sweetness underneath provides a sweet and sour vibe but not as strong as a New Glarus say. Lets go of it’s sourness completely just before the light finish. Unusual and nice.

Bottle thanks to Manny G. It pours cloudy pink-red with pretty much no head. The nose is sweet, sticky, jammy pie, blueberry, must, light plastic, must and public swimming pool. The taste is big tartness upfront, cherry skin, raspberry, some acidity, mouth-pucker, sour candy and jam with a very short finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Rips of the teeth enamel a bit. OK I suppose, but far from their best.

Bottle shared at a CBC Clerkenwell tasting - London. Cheers to Paddy for this one. Pours cloudy pink with a white foam head. The nose holds tangy berries, light varnish. Light sweet flavor with biting acidity, berries, some cherry. Light bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Harsh and acidic on the finish, with dried cherries, a bit of sweat. Not very well balanced, and not terribly drinkable, either. Just OK overall.

Bottle split at CBC Clerko, big thanks to Padraig, 10/09/15. Hazy pink with a moderate crimson topping that quickly dissipates. Nose is tarte cherry skins, wood must, dark berry vibes, light fruit balsam, balsa. Taste comprises sharp berry compote, cherry stones, damp straw, apple core, lemon zing, damp hay. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tarte cherry in a puckering close. Solid enough ’Linner.

Bottle courtesy of tkrjukoff. Pours hazy pinkish orange with a rather small frothy offwhite head that doesn’t leave much trace in the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny malty and fruity with crackers, cereal, lemon juice, sour cherries, yoghurt, dry soil, dry wood, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is sour and fruity. Mouthfeel is dry, tart, mouth-puckering and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour with crackers, cereal, lemon juice, lime juice, cherries, yoghurt, dry soil, minerals and lemon zest. Nicely fruity and heavy tart. Perhaps a bit too sour and tart...
